JEECUP was established in the year 1986-87 and its headquarter is located at Lucknow and the Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradeshis regulated under the Society Act, 1860. This council is responsible to conduct and execute the admission process in various colleges and universities in UP state.
